The clips are made from sustainable beach and walnut wood, without any coating. These clips are great for sealing snack bags, coffee bags etc... and can be used in the fridge or freezer.
Be sure not to leave them soaking in water as they will absorb the water and crack.
Most clips are made of plastic and break easily and are not compostable.
